About me
I'm a software engineer for Satispay, a famous Italian company in the fintech industry. I graduated in computer science at the University of Insubria, Varese. Over the course of my studies, I had the opportunity to deepen with great passion all the topics related to computer science and programming. During my bachelor's degree, I fell in love with functional programming, web and mobile development, and my efforts in this field were rewarded by finding a part-time job as a full-stack web developer that I carried on during my studies. During my Master's degree, I deepened topics about cloud computing, machine learning, privacy, cryptography and blockchain, with which I developed my thesis. If you get to know me, you'll discover a genuine, fair, funny and clumsy person who loves to enjoy little things.
My Competences
Web development
I worked for more than one year for a company called Planeat.eco. The tasks I enjoyed most were backend ones, such as building and testing APIs, interacting with the database and learning about containers. I learned to work in an Agile environemnt with test driven development coding approach.
Mobile Development
One of the projects I am mostly proud of is called Advanced Workout Clock. It's a HIIT timer that i built during covid pandemic to track workouts and progress with my activities.
Blockchain development
During my Master's degree I've been able to deepen the wonderful blockchain techology. In this field I built a Hyperledger Fabric network from scratch, with a customised chaincode. Moreover, I wrote an essay regarding security issues in the smart contracts of Ethereum. Finally, I created Zero Knowledge Chaum Pedersen Proofs and a system inspired by Ethreum ZK rollups to enable users to verify their privacy preferences.
Data Science
During my Master's I took various AI classes and sharpened my skills in this field. I did various projects from recommender sytems using machine learning techniques like KNN to classifiers using Tensorflow deep learning models.
